BiographyHistory

Christopher Bell attended Eltham High School and then gained a BSc and MSc before undertaking PhD studies at the University of Melbourne. After more than two decades of teaching at the University of Melbourne, Bell was appointed Chair of Physiology at Trinity College, Dublin, in 1995.

In 1968, while president of the University of Melbourne's Tin Alley Players, Bell produced David Williamson's The Indecent Exposure of Anthony East. It was the first production of a Williamson play.
