BiographyHistory

New Zealand historian Michael King won awards for literature, television writing and journalism during a distinguished career. King wrote widely on Maori and New Zealand history and his publications included his definitive study of the sinking of the Greenpeace flagship in Waitemata Harbour, Auckland on 10 July 1985 titled the Death of the Rainbow Warrior (1986).
