BiographyHistory

Catriona Moore has been a senior lecturer in Art History and Theory at the University of Sydney and the author of Indecent Exposures: Australian Feminist Photography. She was an executive member of the NSW Artworkers Union and active in the Affirmative Action Committee. Moore has written extensively on feminist and Australian art, and in 2008 she was preparing a book on modernist women artists from the neo-colonial periphery. Dissonance: Feminism and the Arts 1970-90, edited by Moore, was shortlisted in the NSW Premier's Awards.
