BiographyHistory

Ruby Doyle appears to have spent part of her early life in the Dungog district, where her grandfather was a pastoralist. During the earlier 20th century, she wrote serials and short stories for the Sydney Mail and by the 1930s had gained a reputation as a writer of some standing. In Sydney, she was active in the Lyceum Club and also the Pioneer Club. She died in England during World War II.
