BiographyHistory

Riverside Press was established by Henry Oscar Houghton when in 1852 he moved his printery into a property on the Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The press is recognised as a printer of finely printed and bound special editions.

A small number of titles were also published by the press, which was largely known as the printing subsidiary of Houghton, Mifflin.
