Notes

  • A Fijian Tongan, Lili has written two plays for the Multicultural Theatre Alliance's 10x6 project, "Under the Board Shorts" (1997) and "Head Over Heels & Hair to Spray" (1998). She writes from the perspective of an indigenist, which she defines as a contemporary perspective based on "first peoples cultural values which are essential for planetary survival". She has worked as a radio and print journalist, including writing for Pacific Island Monthly and the Manila based Interpress Newswise Service. (Source: Waiting in Space)
