Dhugal Lindsay was educated at the North Rockhampton State High School(1984-1988) and part of his tertiary studies, a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology , was completed at the University of Queensland (1989-1992). He has also published Mutsugoro (Tokyo 1997), haiku poetry in Japanese.
