BiographyHistory

Lena Nahlous is a community cultural development worker who has co-ordinated arts projects for young people, women and diverse communities throughout Sydney. In 1998 she wrote and performed an original work in "The Map is Not the Territory" at the Performance Space and later that year read at Riverside Theatre, Parramatta as part of Arabic Carnivale's literary program. She has been director of Information and Cultural Exchange (ICE), an arts and cultural organisation working across Greater Western Sydney. 2006, Nahlous received an Asialink Arts Fellowship allowing her to spend four months in Hong Kong (Source: Waiting in Space and Information and Cultural Exchange webpage).
