BiographyHistory

John Andrews was a comic artist and book illustrator who worked principally for the Currawong Publishing Company during the mid-to-late 1940s. He wrote and illustrated the comic book The Hidden People (subtitled 'A Jimmy York Adventure') (D.Crick/Pinnacle Press, ca.1946-1947). A further Jimmy York adventure, 'The Synthetic Atom', was promoted as a forthcoming title by the publisher, but may not have been printed.
