BiographyHistory

The eldest child of John Reid (1795-1873) and Jane Livingstone (1795-1885), Eliza, with her family, emigrated in 1839 on the Orleana. The family settled in the Gawler area, where they took up land. On 16 August 1849 she married Dr David Mahony at Gawler, South Australia.
