BiographyHistory

Born at Nyah West in Victoria, Nöelle Tolley went to school at Merbein, then moved to Mildura. In 1953 she married Ian Tolley and they had three sons, one of whom died in 1987. They live at 'Ihabi', an orange orchard at Renmark. Nöelle is Director of Export and Sales for Tolleys Nurseries Pty Ltd, and is (2000) Past President of WCEI-A (Women Chiefs of Enterprises International - Australia) and International Vice President of FCEM (Femmes Chefs d'Enterprises Mondiale). She wrote for 2 years in the '70s for the Stock Journal of SA, and had her own section. As well as her creative writing listed here she also writes horticultural articles, and has written historical and general items for the ABC.
