BiographyHistory

Ray Parkin was in the Royal Australian Navy from 1946 to 1975, then worked at the Melbourne waterfront until his retirement. Apart from writing, he has made engravings and drawings. He also wrote H. M. Bark Endeavour, which won the Douglas Stewart Prize for non-fiction at the 1999 NSW Premier's Literary Awards.
