BiographyHistory

Paty Marshall-Stace is a story-teller, poet, author and illustrator. The eldest of ten children, she emigrated to Australia in 1972 and settled in Victoria. Written on a word-processor that drew its energy from the battery of a 1971 Valiant, The Magic Caravan (1995) evolved from her experiences when arriving in Australia from the USA with very little money, a small family and a lot of love and hope.
