BiographyHistory

Roger Montgomery is a musician who was Front man for the Mucky Duck Bush Band for six years. Since leaving the band he has worked for various Arts Councils and other organisations and has been an Artist-in-Residence in several states. He has taught theatre skills, has taken Oz poetry and stories to schools, comedy clubs and other events, and has worked with 'The Dongo's Breakfast Oz Music & Poetry Band', 'Two Bloody Poets' (with Peter Capp) and 'The Bruce Brothers' (with John Doust). He has written and produced five plays for ABC FM radio and for four years was the Friday afternoon 'People's Poet' on the then Peter Holland radio show on the ABC.
