BiographyHistory

'The Centre for Australian Language and Literature Studies (CALLS) was established in 1989 to promote the research and teaching of Australian Language and Literature, and to encourage Australian writing. In 1998, it was expanded to encompass all the disciplines that come under the heading of Australian Studies, and its name changed to CALLS: The Centre for Australian Studies, UNE.
