BiographyHistory

Coralie Cassady is a poet, activist and storyteller. A graduate from James Cook University (Diploma of Communications), she writes poetry based on life experiences, including but not restricted to identity, inequalities and social justice, yet always focusing on her strengths as an Indigenous Australian woman.

Her poetry canvasses a smorgasbord of humour, hardship and the celebration of life. Coralie has published numerous poems in the Koori Mail and is in demand to read her poetry at festivals and events.
