BiographyHistory

Drexel Biddle and Bradley was formed in 1895 in Philadelphia by a partnership of eccentric socialite and sportsman Anthony Joseph Drexel Biddle and his cousin Alexander Bradley, to publish the Philadelphia Sunday Graphic and some of Biddle's own work. From 1897 Drexell Biddle published alone and expanded to other authors. The company opened offices in New York and London in 1899. In 1904 Biddle sold his publishing interests to R. F. Fenno Company.
