Anna Tambour is a writer and poet whose area of interest lies in speculative fiction, satire, fable and other strange and hard-to-categoris genres. her work as appeared in magazines and journals such as Quadrant, Subterranean, Sprawel and Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine, and in anthologies such as Agog! : Ripping Reads (2006), The Del Rey Book of Science Fiction and Fantasy (2009), and Paper Cities (2009). Her collection Monterra's Deliciosa & Other Tales was published in 2003, followed in 2005 by the Spotted Lily. Since 2005 Tambour has also been publishing her own work and that of others through the sebsite Anna Tambour and Others, which also links to her blog site Medlar Comfits and Magnificants — Magnificent Insignificants.
Describing herself as being of 'of no fixed nationality, Tambour lives in the Australian bush with a large family of other species, including one man.'
