BiographyHistory

After a career in advertising in New York and London, Rosemary Hayes lived in Australia for six years where she studied writing at Monash University, Melbourne, Victoria. Her first children's fiction Race Against Time (1988) and her young adult novel The Blue-Eyed Aborigine (2010) are set in Australia.

Hayes travels regularly to Australia, but now lives in England where she runs a small publishing company in rural Cambridgeshire.
