BiographyHistory

The Dramatic Publishing Company was founded in Chicago in 1885 by Charles Hubbard Sergel, a journalist with an interest in theatre. Specialising in the publication of drama, the Company has published first editions of many American plays, and first American editions of works by international playwrights, including some Australian writers.
