BiographyHistory

Joel Shepherd was born in Adelaide, South Australia, and moved to Perth, Western Australia, at the age seven. Shepherd studied film and television at Curtin University. As an adult, he has lived in Adelaide, South Australia.

In addition to writing, Shepherd has assisted in his mother's business, selling Australian books to international schools in Asia and beyond. This work has enabled him to travel widely.
