Hart-Davis, MacGibbon was the general publishing division of the Granada Group, formed by the merger of the imprints of Rupert Hart-Davis Limited and MacGibbon and Kee in 1972. It ceased when the Hart-Davis imprint was purchased in 1983 by William Collins, and became part of Grafton Books.
