The Ancora Press was orginially established within the former Graduate School of Librarianship at Monash University in Victoria and then transferred to the School of Information Management and Systems. In 2000 ownership of the press passed to the Centre for the Book within the School of Literary, Visual and Performance Studies of the Faculty of Arts.
