BiographyHistory

A consultant in the fields of children's / young-adult literature and school libaries, Dr Susan La MArca has been Head of Library and Information Services at Genazzano FCJ College in Melbourne, adjunct lecturer in the School of Information Studies at Charles Sturt University, and Regional Director for Oceania of the International Association of School Librarianship.

The co-author of works on readership and learning environments, she has also been the editor of Synergy, the research journal of the School Library Association of Victoria. With Pam McIntyre, she co-edited two collections of short fiction: Things a Map Won't Show You (upper primary-school readers) and Where the Shoreline Used to Be (senior high-school readers).
