BiographyHistory

Delia Alexander grew up in the Philippines where her father read stories and poems to her in Tagalog. She graduated in journalism from the Lyceum of the Phillipines. Alexander was posted to Australia with the Philippines Department of Foreign Affairs in 1965.

Alexander wrote poetry in her high school years, but only began writing in earnest in 1997. Her poetry and short stories have been published in several anthologies. In 2006 she was a member of the Tuggeranong Arts Centre's Multicultural Writers Group.
