Born one of five children, Jeanine Lloyd was raised in the western suburbs of Sydney and completed high school at the Tara Church of England Girl's School. She moved to Canberra gaining a law degree at the Australian National University. In 1979 Jeanine was admitted as a barrister and solicitor, and in1989 she became a partner with Pamela Coward and Associates. She has expertise in commercial and family law and has a legal practice in Canberra, Jeanine Lloyd & Associates.
