BiographyHistory

Captain Frank Knight was in the Merchant Navy from 1921 to 1930; then he was a Flight Lieutenant Navigation Instructor in the Royal Air Force from 1939 to 1945. His special interest was maritime history.

His first children's novel was published in 1950 and he wrote a number of fiction and non-fiction books for children and adults, mostly about the sea.

He probably visited Australia during his travels.
