BiographyHistory

In his ancestry John Wells claims Thomas Carlyle, a Scottish essayist, satirist, and historian, whose work was influential during the Victorian era. Wells has been a school teacher and principal of Hampton Park East Primary School. He has written about Gippsland in non-fiction work, including Colourful Tales of Old Gippsland (1977). There are several other local history books to his credit as well.
