BiographyHistory

Power had been a barrister before he pursued writing as a career. In addition to his novel, he also wrote radio plays, including an adaptation of Helen Simpson's Boomerang.

By 1939, he was in Hollywood, from where he contributed a series of pieces to Brisbane paper The Sunday Mail, on topics such as 'Puppets of the Screen' (30 July 1939) and 'To Become a Male Star' (27 August 1939).
