  • Margaret Pearson has written and illustrated information books for children, including The Story of Australia (1946) and Discovering London for Children (1983), as well as a Christmas cookery book, Recipes for a Merry Christmas and a Guid New Year from St. Nicholas and St. Andrew. She has also written a history book for adults, Bright Tapestry : the story of the stately homes of England : their history, their ghosts, witches, highwaymen, mermaids, and other strange connexions (1956).
