BiographyHistory

Frederick Cumming was a medical practitioner and surgeon. He was a Licentiate of the Faculty of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow (1827), and a graduate Edinburgh University (1832). He arrived in Queensland with his wife and family on the immigrant ship Monsoon in August 1854, and subsequently practiced at Brisbane, Ipswich and Toowoomba. He later moved to Sydney, where he practiced for many years at Woollahra.
