BiographyHistory

Raylene Campion was one of nine children, born in the Flinders Range in South Australia's central north. Growing up in Adelaide she became a nurse. After, twenty five years of nursing she married and had children. Subsequently, began working for the South Australian Department of Family and Community Services.

In 1989, Raylene was injured in a car accident, after her recovery she worked at Tandanya as a gallery attendant, working up to senior gallery attendant. Raylene had written several poems which have been published in the Koori Mail newspaper. (Source: Koori Mail, issue 326, 2004)
