Rex Harris has worked as a News Editor and African correspondent for the London News Chronicle and has been a contributor to The Herald (Melbourne), The Mercury (Hobart), Examiner (Launceston) and The Guardian and Times (UK). He has also held postions as Director, Australian Information Services, UK and USA and Assistant Director, Trade Publicity, Department of Trade and Industry.
