Audrey Yue completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at La Trobe University on contemporary Hong Kong cinema and has worked subsequently as a lecturer in cultural studies at the University of Melbourne. She has published in the Asian Studies Review and the Journal of Homosexuality ('Interface: Reflections of an Ethnic Toygirl' 1999). In 2003 she co-edited Mobile Cultures: New Media in Queer Asia.
