BiographyHistory

Mouni Sadhu was born in Wrzésnia, Poland and received his schooling in Warsaw before being evacuated to the Ukraine in 1915. During the 1917 Russian Revolution he escaped back to Poland and joined the Polish army. After World War I he obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Warsaw University and began a teaching career in Mathematics and Physics, while pursuing further studies in foreign languages and occult philosophy. During World War II he was taken prisoner-of-war and, on his release, spent a short time in the service of the United States Army in France. He first emigrated to Brazil and then to Australia, where he established a career as a journalist and author, publishing many books on occult Philosophy.
