BiographyHistory

Annaliza Marino's parents were Italians from Calabria. She has published in English and Italian and has some knowledge of Farsi. She gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Politics from Flinders University and a Bachelor of Letters (BLitt) degree in Sociology from the Australian National University. She has worked as a private consultant on issues relating to ethnicity and immigration. Her short story, featured in Give Me Strength, won first prize in the ADIA/ALITALIA literary competition, which resulted in the publication of the anthology.
