BiographyHistory

Kuzma Kazdoba was born in the Kherson region of the Ukraine. He settled in Adelaide where he was active in the Ukrainian community. He wrote an autobiographical book of memoirs in Ukrainian, Zamentenyi shliak : spohady pro khresnu dorohu rozkurkulenykh (The Drifted Road), 1974, depicting the period of forced collectivisation and famine ind the Ukraine, and his experiences in exile in Northern Russia.
