BiographyHistory

Olgerts Rozitis began a law degree in Latvia, which he completed at the University of Melbourne. He worked in the Latvian diplomatic service before emigrating. He said of his work: 'I have tried through imagination to show the reader an emotional situation. I am not interested in how it came about or how it can be solved. My works are navigator's jottings on a chart about the protagonist's current position'. His work was read on the Latvian language program of Radio 2EA, and published in the journals Australijas Latvietis, Londonas Avize, Cela Zimes, and Jauna Gaita.
