BiographyHistory

A speaker of English, German and Italian, Janis Muiznieks gained qualifications in aeronautical engineering from the University of Rome and in engineering mechanics from the University of Latvia. He went on to teach at the University of Latvia, the Baltic University, Nottingham University, and the University of New South Wales. His work was read on Radio 2EA in 1984 and he read at literary evenings of the Sydney Latvian Society. A posthumous reading of a short story was given at the 1990 Adelaide Writers' Week.
