BiographyHistory

Marian Kałuski was born in Chełmno, Poland. He worked as a journalist, from 1964 to 1977, with the Polish Weekly (Melbourne) as contributor, sub-editor and editor and, from 1968 to 1970, as editor of the Polish journal Mercury (Melbourne).

He was a founder-member and chairperson of the Polish-Australian Historical Society (Melbourne) and has also been a member of the Australian Journalists' Association and the Fellowship of Australian Writers (FAW). He has published extensively in Polish and English in the fields of Polish and Polish-Australian history.
