BiographyHistory

Ludwik Tabaczyński was born in eastern Poland. He worked as a forestry engineer and journalist and began writing as a student. He was a survivor of the Dachau concentration camp, and whilst still in Germany, began producing Słowo, a publication for the Polish community there. In Perth he was the editor of the Polish language weekly, Echo, in the early 1950s. He also published the Polish language literary magazine Echo Opowiadania.
