BiographyHistory

Ava saudargas was born in Kalvariji, Lithuania. Also a speaker of German and Polish, she has worked as a physical education teacher and as an inspector of schools. As well, she has produced theatre for children and worked as a journalist and writer. Between 1986 and 1988, she worked as a broadcaster on the Radio 2EA Lithuanian language program. From 1978 until 1984, she was director and choreographer for the Lithuanian Folkdancers Group, Gintaras. She presented her work at the Sydney Lithuanian Community Children's Theatre regularly between 1952 and 1975.
