BiographyHistory

Davies has been a music educator, jazz musician, composer, children's entertainer and president of the Victorian Orff Schulwerk Association (VOSA). With her husband Phillip Splitter (q.v.), Davies has presented and conducted professional development workshops for teachers throughout Australia, New Zealand, Europe, USA and Singapore.

From 2000 to 2002, Davies was the Director of Music and the Performing Arts at the King David School in Melbourne. Since 1997, she has taught at VOSA, the Australian Catholic University, and Melbourne University.

With Phillip Splitter, Davies has written many scores and songbooks for teachers to use with children, including Rainbows, Trees and Tambourines (1996) and Razzamajazz (1996).
