BiographyHistory

Janet Bridgland is a water colour painter and illustrator. She studied at the Ruth Tuck Art School (1956-1963) and later Fine Art (Painting) at the South Australian School of Art in North Adelaide (1965-1968). She has also taught art, life drawing and illustration at various institutions in Adelaide. As well as illustrating a number of children's picture books Bridgland has provided the cover illustrations for numerous publications and illustrative work in books, magazines and websites. She has been represented by Greenhill Galleries in Adelaide since 1985.
