BiographyHistory

Daughter of the widely published author Jennifer Rowe, Kate Rowe has been described as a singer/songwriter who produces lyrics with a 'strong fantasy and story-telling element'. Based in the Blue Mountains (New South Wales), Rowe 'began performing in Paris while working as an English teacher at the Sorbonne in 2001'. She has since experienced a variety of occupations which have included book illustrator, 'fairy' at children's parties, high school French teacher, radio presenter and saleswoman.

Working in collaboration with her mother (aka Emily Rodda), Rowe has co-written a number of novels intended for a young adult readership. In addition to these works, Rowe contributed graphics to the Deltora Quest series of children's books.
