This author is possibly James H. Gant, b. 1902 Rylstone, NSW. Two historical novels by a James Gant, Columbus and The Besieged, were published in London in 1970 and 1972 respectively. However, as the subject matter and prose style of these novels differ markedly from that of the titles listed below, it has not been possible to conclude that they are by the same person.
