BiographyHistory

Percival Watson was educated in England and later gained a Master of Arts from the University of Adelaide, South Australia, in 1931. His thesis topic was 'Theory of the Subconscious, with Special Reference to Recent Psychological Developments'. Watson was ordained into the Congregational Church and took up his first ministry at Henley Beach, South Australia, from 1905 to 1908. After further ministries in South Australia and New South Wales he worked for the Congregational Church in Queensland from 1925 to 1947. Watson was Principal of the Queensland Congregational Theological College. He spent the last three years of his career in Sydney, New South Wales.
