BiographyHistory

Joe Saliba was born in Birkirkara, Malta and worked as a teacher there. In Australia he has worked with the Commonwealth Public Service, spending 27 years at the Commonwealth Serum Laboratories as a personnel officer. In 1988 he gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literary Studies from Deakin University. He was a member of the Maltese Literary Society (Malta), the Association of Maltese Literature in Australia, the Maltese Literature Group and the Victorian Association of Multicultural Writers. His poetry has been read on Radio 3EA and Radio Malta.
