BiographyHistory

Gundars Plavkalns gained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in German from the University of Adelaide, with the thesis 'Friedrich Dürrenmatts satirische Tragikomödie und sein poetisches Theater' .He has published fiction and poetry and has been a contributor of articles and reviews to several publications, including Australijas Latvietis, Jauna Gaita, Latvija, Tilts, Laiks, Cela Zimes and Laras Lapa.
