BiographyHistory

Stavros Messinis graduated from the College of Journalism in Greece and later studied Sociology and Media at the University of Melbourne. He has worked as a correspondent for the Greek newspaper Ethnos and magazine Politika Themata, and has been a contributor to Neos Kosmos, Nea Ellada, Kosmos and the Athletic Chronicle. In 1981 he became editor of news with the Greek program on Radio 3CR in Melbourne. He was founder of the publishing venture, Elikia Books. His work has been broadcast on Radio 3EA and 3CR.
